school basics

Saints Peter and Paul School is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Extended Care Program is offered from 7 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and from 2:35 p.m. to 5 p.m. School hours are 8:25 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.

Pre-Kindergarten

Upon arrival, parents are asked to bring their child directly to the Pre-K classroom.

Upon dismissal, our Pre-K teacher dismisses each child directly to his/her parent/guardian. Students attending half-day sessions are dismissed from the Dover Street entrance at 11:30 a.m. Students attending full-day sessions are dismissed from the Pre-K classroom at 2:35 p.m.

Kindergarten through Grade 8

Students may enter the schoolyard at 8:15 a.m., at which time a teacher is available for supervision. Students in Grades K–8 line up by class in the schoolyard at 8:25 a.m. for opening exercises, then proceed into the building to begin the school day.

Students in Grades K–8 are dismissed from the schoolyard at 2:35 p.m. After closing prayer, students in walking patrols are released first. Next, classroom teachers release each student directly to his/her parent/guardian. Remaining students are placed in our Extended Care Program.
