Accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges, Inc., Saints Peter and Paul School offers a Pre-K through Grade 8 curriculum distinguished by academic excellence and innovation. Pre-Kindergarten Offering half-day and full-day enrollment options, our Pre-Kindergarten program is designed to give young children an engaging and well-rounded introduction to the world of learning. With years of experience in early childhood education, our teaching team has created a positive, welcoming classroom environment where children receive the guidance, attention, and encouragement they need to blossom in all areas of growth. Our preschoolers spend their days immersed in hands-on learning activities that teach and reinforce the readiness skills and key concepts essential to their ongoing academic success. Through art, music, books, cooking, imaginative play, and special events, our Pre-K students learn so much — and have so much fun doing it! Kindergarten through Grade 8 At Saints Peter and Paul School, our well-developed curriculum gives students from Kindergarten through eighth grade a strong foundation in all the primary academic subjects — reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies — as well as religious education. Beginning at the Kindergarten level, our curriculum also includes computer technology, art, music, and physical education. Middle grade curriculum includes foreign language, cooking, sewing, and an entrepreneurial program supported by the local business community. Throughout our school, traditional classroom instruction is enhanced by a variety of pedagogies and enrichment opportunities, including performing and visual arts, cooperative learning, and field experiences. In keeping with our school’s mission, faith is integrated into every aspect of our curriculum. Our aim is to help students develop a personal relationship with God and build strong moral values. Gender, diversity, and multicultural issues are explored and addressed at every grade level; we teach respect and tolerance for all people and celebrate the many rich traditions, cultures, and faiths that surround us. Through formal instruction, prayer, and community service projects, our students learn to live the Gospel values in service to their school, family, community, and the world around them. Curriculum Guidelines Saints Peter and Paul School's curriculum is based on the Curriculum Guidelines established by the Diocese of Fall River Catholic Education Center.
